We’re searching for a Manufacturing Senior Engineer to be part of our Manufacturing, Production Planning I Department diverse team of talent.
What you will be working on
- Act as section coordinator to supervise and coordinate production activities to meet daily and monthly manufacturing goals through the efficient use of manpower, material, and machine; together with proficient methodologies, in a hazardous-free and healthy working environment.
- Assists the Section Manager in all manufacturing related issue and work with supporting departments in identifying solution and successful implementation across all 4 shifts.
- Lead, coordinate and execute improvement programs in manufacturing operations in his/her Section.
- Provide mentorship, training and guidance to fellow/new Manufacturing Engineers.
- Resolve and handle line-related issues and to understand all equipment capacities / constraints so as to identify, handle and resolve bottleneck situations.
- Participate in quality, productivity and cost reduction improvement.
- Ensure safety, discipline and housekeeping compliance by all personnel and take actions on violators.
- Ensure proper documentation and data-integrity.
- Perform shift duties to support production, as required by Section Manager.
- Chair off-shift production meetings.
- Act and assume the responsibilities of Section Manager in his/her absence.
More about you
- Degree in Science or Engineering
- 2-5 years relevant wafer fab manufacturing experience in at least one of the areas in Thin Film, Diffusion, Etch, Lithography, Test and Production Planning.
- Have supervised a team of at least 20 personnel.
- Well versed in every manufacturing aspect in current section plus some knowledge in 1 other section.
- Have independently or as part of a team; completed at least 1 CIT type improvement project in manufacturing operations.
- Proven leadership quality
- Good interpersonal skills
- Team player
- Good analytical and planning skills
- Willing to work 12-hr shift.
