We’re searching for a Senior Engineer, PVD Process Eng. (50701775) to be part of our Thin Film, PVD Process Eng. Department diverse team of talent.
What you will be working on
- Support PVD Process engineering related activities to achieve operation targets and meet company objectives
- Sustaining line operations, troubleshooting (Participate/implementing corrective and preventive measures) and root cause analysis
- Round the clock standby for impromptu tool issues and specific decision making
- Production and metrology Tool Ownership and accountability for Cost, Uptime, Wafers scrap, process sustaining issues
- Participate in creation and continuous review of Operating Instructions (OI), Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Best-Known Methods (BKMS) to optimize Process and Equipment procedures
- Lead and support cross-functional improvement projects across yield, quality, cost, and productivity using analytical tools like SPC, DOE, Pareto, and run charts.
- Participate/contribute to Process and Product transfers to and from different global networked wafer fabs from Development to engineering and manufacturing
- Support Transform Platform initiatives including Lean Six Sigma, BKMs, patents, and automation; implement TSMC/NXP BKMs, troubleshoot cross-functional issues, and drive process quality and cost improvements.
- Develop FMEA for Custom & Derivative processes.
More about you
- Master/Degree in Chemical/ Materials/ Chemistry/ Physics or Electrical, Electronics Engineering and other relevant fields
- Candidates with 1–3 years’ frontend semiconductor experience, fresh graduates with strong interest, or diploma holders with 5+ years in PVD Process are welcome to apply.
- Preferred candidates have knowledge in IMP-PVD, Metal PVD, Electro-plating processes, and familiarity with toolsets such as Applied Materials Producer, Centura (DxZ, HDP, WxZ), Endura, TEL Scrubbers, and Novellus Altus & Sequel.
- Proficient in Microsoft business applications
