We’re searching for a Senior Material & Sourcing Specialist to be part of our Supply Chain Department diverse team of talent.
What you will be working on
- Ensure safety aspect coverage for all projects.
- Execute the strategy to achieve the Purchasing department KPI in the following areas (Ensure all facility Repair and Maintenance spend and projects operating within budget)
- Perform Purchasing Requisition (PR) and Purchasing Order (PO) function in a timely, accurate and complete manner while
- Complying to SOP on PR approvals, PO issuance and Contracts
- Complying with Internal Control Compliance (includes I-com compliance)
- Managing projects relating to green procurement. (Pumps, UPS, Scrubbers etc)
- Support data analysis and preparation for yearly strategic planning
- Review all OI and SOP and ensure they are updated
1) Facility (Capex and Manage monthly service contracts and spending)
- Procurement & Contract Management – Oversee RFQ processes, vendor selection, bid reviews, negotiations, contract compliance, and alignment with project timelines and company policies.
- Financial & Operational Oversight – Review supplier financials with Finance, prepare Capex presentations, manage utilities contracts, and handle audits and legal matters.
- Sustainability & Improvement Initiatives – Drive cost, productivity, and quality improvements, and lead green projects focused on carbon reduction and energy savings.
2) Capex for hook up
- Act as project lead in a cross functional team (user from operation, facility, vendors) to ensure hook up project schedule is executed in a timely manner
- Preparation of Request for Quotation (RFQ) Process
More about you
- Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Material Engineering, Business Administration
- Preferably 2 years purchasing experience in semiconductor plant
- Facility Experience is a plus No color blindness
- Possess strong understanding of SAP system
- Knowledge of Facility systems (UPW treatment system, Electricity, Gas Supply system – Bulk/Special Gas, Wastewater Treatment, Waste Gas treatment etc)
